"After going through a multitude of different therapies, nothing resonated quite as well as Liz's sessions. I always felt as though I never connected well enough with the therapist themselves, as well as it not being satiating after my visits. There was always a yearning to go deeper. After going to nine sessions with Liz, I've gathered some conclusions on why I feel the way I do. The first being a deep feeling of spaciousness. When I walk into Liz's space there is a feeling of "Ah there's room to breathe in here". Liz's sense of intentionality and presence brings forth an air of calm which allows my system to fall away from a sense of flight or fight and sink into contemplation. It has the same feeling like going to a friend's house. In her sessions it feels like we are there learning together; she's there to not only empower you but also walk with you through any feelings that come up. Initially because our practice was breathwork-focused, I figured I might be able to do it myself. And the lovely part is, you can! But the real magic is in Liz's prompts. While sitting with your breath you craft a container together, not only to locate possible underlying traumas but also feel through them in a deep state of curious exploration and intuition. Her questions stretch and massage your brain into thinking of things less unilaterally."

FAQs
Who do you work with?
All genders, all sexual orientations and all relationship orientations! I work with humans, broadly. I observe and treat an individual as a unique individual. Everyone’s identification and orientation is valid and welcome here. I have experience in both monogamous and non-monogamous relationship orientations as well as experience and understanding of various sexual orientations. If you’re curious to know if I have appropriate experience to support you, please feel welcome to reach out to me for further inquiry on this specific topic.
Can you help me with something other than sex? How?
Yes, absolutely! All themes of self-development fall under the umbrella of Love & Relationship since the foundation to each of us is relationship to self and love of self. The types of desires and themes that have been brought to my collaborative coaching container are vast and diverse. The tools of the method I use are effective for any aspect of you that supports your trajectory toward a more thriving you. This can be relationship-oriented (romantic, family, dating partner, child, colleague, etc.), body-love oriented, work/career-oriented, personal health-oriented, and more.
How would you describe your coaching?
The coaching methodology I use is somatic based. I also describe this as body+mind based. This means that we engage both the mind/mental/intellect through conversation, dialog and communication, as well as engaging the somatic/body intelligence through mindfulness/meditation practices, intentional breath practices, visualizations, and other embodiment tools. The relationship between me as coach and you as client/s is incredibly collaborative: I am here to support and guide the inquiry, leading the container of your process with compassionate, sensitive, intentional, loving care. Gathering your consent along the way is integral to an effective, self-led and safe pace. You will experience my embodied, centered presence so that you feel heard, understood, listened to, acknowledged and validated. I maintain the continuity of your process, opening and closing our collaborative space with clarity, groundedness and professionalism. All of this supports us to go deep into your journey, holding you in safety, feeling our resonant presence throughout your transformative journey.
What’s the specialty per se and what kinds of topics are appropriate for this type of coaching??
While the coaching certificate I have is called VITA Love, Sex & Relationship Coaching and my chosen title with this certificate is Intimacy & Embodiment Coach, there is nothing in life that doesn’t fall within the umbrella of the coaching container I offer since everything in life that we do is relational and about love. That said, here are some themes that clients might bring to our collaborative work:
Womens Sexuality & Empowerment themes:
- I struggle to love certain parts of my body and I think this is affecting my sex life. I want to learn how to appreciate myself, my body, so that I can feel more excited for sex in my life again and so that I can feel safe in my own intimacy with my own body.
-I don’t feel empowered in my decision making and I want to feel more discerning and alignment with my life choices so that I can feel more thriving and like the queen goddess I know I am capable of feeling as but am struggling to feel it!
Mens Sexuality & Empowerment themes:
- I feel confused about what my partner needs and wants sexually and it’s getting into my head when we are in the bedroom. I want to work on this but I’m not sure where to begin.
- I have felt ashamed of my sexual desires for so long and it’s created a gap of connection between me and partners all my life. I am so confused about this and it’s affecting my confidence.
- In sex, I almost always worry about my performance and my climax and orgasm so that I don’t wreck a sexual experience. I want to feel in more control of all of this but I don’t know what can be done to change it.
- I feel so disconnected from my body all the time, in life in general and in the bedroom especially. I remember feeling more connected with my body when I was younger and would love to feel that way again.
Partnership themes:
- My partner and I are drifting apart and it feels like a lot of our disconnection is due to an unfulfilling sex life. I worry that this may lead to the ending of our relationship.
- I am worried about the staleness and boredom in my relationship and that if something doesn’t change that we’ll transition to a humdrum, status quo connection.
- I feel very disconnected and in my mind during sex with my partner, thinking of all of the things, and it’s something my partner has pointed out is important to them. I want to change it for it to feel good like it used to but I’m not sure how to make that happen.
Is your coaching process helpful for Shadow work?
Absolutely! Using the VITA somatic method and tools, we are able to access various parts and pieces of our being. The method naturally reveals, incorporates, and integrates the deeper layers co-existing with us. We work with sub-personalities including inner child pieces to clarify, understand, and transform to an updated reality that is supportive and empowering to our adult existence.
Do I need to have a desire/goal/intention chosen before starting coaching?
No you don’t have to bring anything to our coaching container except for yourself, your curiosity, and your choice to be in collaboration with me! Clarifying a desire/goal/intention is the essential first step of our coaching process. Some new clients arrive with a general understanding of what it is they are coming to an Intimacy & Embodiment coaching container for, and others do not; either is wonderful. The first session and often into the second and third session, we focus and fine tune the desire/goal/intention of our collaborative work together. My guidance in this process is very supportive and can be a truly profound process to even acknowledge and then explore and define what it is that you want. The core desire/goal/intention is always returned to and checked in with so that we are staying ailgned to what is most true for you.
How is coaching different than therapy and what is Somatic Coaching?
The way I generally understand how coaching is different is different than coaching is that therapy is a medical model for mental health issues. It diagnoses and treats symptoms, creates stabilization, and tends to focus on problems. Coaching does not diagnose or treat mental health issues. On the other hand, coaching focuses on desires/intentions/goals, and we use specific methods and tools (in this case, somatic methods and tools) to get results. The coaching process may reveal things that might need other therapeutic modes or approaches and we check in consistently to make sure the container we are working within is optimally supportive. It’s also totally fine and can be a really amazing combination to simultaneously work with a therapist and a coach.
